Bad Rippoldsau

The highest mineral and mud baths in the Black Forest.
Bad Rippoldsau, with its 1000 inhabitants, lies in the wild romantic Wolf Valley between 500 and 900 metres above sea level, not far from Freudenstadt on the southern flank of the Kniebis.
For centuries there have been traditional baths at Bad Rippoldsau. The healthy spring water - naturally healing - always bubbling up and never dry, the mud and the climate have all made our little mountain village famous.
Well known names decorate our guest list and are evidence of our world-wide fame. Rainer Maria Rilke, Victor Hugo, Johannes Brahms, Viktor von Scheffel
They were all looking for health and relaxation and here they found both.
The clinic at Bad Rippoldsau with its outpatient treatment centre combines centuries-old tradition with the latest treatment methods.
As well as natural healing programmes, treatments for skeletal and muscular complaints, heart and circulatory illnesses, respiratory ailments as well as metabolic disorders can be successfully carried out.
Outpatient treatment and inpatient rehabilitation including post operative orthopaedic care are provided at the Bad Rippoldsau treatment centre.
You would find the hot mineral baths (32°C ) with indoor and outdoor pools particularly relaxing.
